Privacy policy
This policy explains how Discord Picks Recorder accesses and uses Google user data.
Application scope
Discord Picks Recorder is a private desktop application used only by its owner. It does not provide public user registration, advertising, or data brokerage.
Google data accessed
- Google Sheets: spreadsheet values and formatting needed to read, add, correct, and grade records in the owner's configured spreadsheet.
- Gmail: send-only access used to send operational and review alerts to the owner's configured address. The application does not read, list, or delete email.
How data is used
Google Sheets data is used to locate safe write ranges, avoid duplicate or conflicting updates, display project context, and apply changes approved by the owner. Gmail authorization is used only to send application alerts.
When the owner explicitly uses the application's project-chat features, relevant spreadsheet context may be sent to the configured Z.ai language-model service to answer the owner's request or prepare a proposed change. Google user data is not sold or used for advertising.
Storage and retention
OAuth tokens, checkpoints, and operational records are stored locally on the owner's Windows computer. Data remains until the owner removes the local files or revokes access. Google remains the system of record for spreadsheet and email content.
Sharing and disclosure
The application does not share Google user data with advertisers or data brokers. Limited spreadsheet context is transmitted to the configured Z.ai service only as described above. Data may also be disclosed when required by law.
Security and user control
The application limits spreadsheet writes to configured ranges and keeps OAuth tokens out of its public source files. The owner can revoke Google access from Google Account settings and delete locally stored tokens and records.
Google API Services policy
The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Contact
For privacy or support questions, use the support email displayed on the application's Google OAuth consent screen.
